My daughter was referred to Dr. Zickmann, by our family dentist, she needed to have her gums opened up and a hook attached to her permanent tooth, because it never came in. Due to apprehension she needed to have to surgery done under sedation Dr. Zickmann was very patient with her throughout the whole procedure. We were told by family that she would be in a lot of pain she had very little pain at all this was a great relief. I was truly impressed with how friendly and courteous the whole staff was. My dentist referred me to Dr. Zickmann because I needed a tooth extraction and steel implant. He extracted my bad tooth so cleanly that he was able to insert the screw in the same visit, before I even left the chair! He had a very calming presence and both the extraction and implantation were completely painless (local anesthesia). Communicated very well with my dentist to coordinate the separate abutment and tooth attachment procedures and everything went without flaw. Dr. Zickmann is a complete perfectionist with his work while maintaining a concerned, friendly bedside manner and good humor. If you need serious dental work, make no mistake about it, this is the guy you must see.

Had 2 lower wisdom teeth extracted, 1 of which was impacted and twisted. I was VERY nervous about this procedure, after a very bad experience 10 years prior at a different dentist for my top two Wisdom teeth. Dr Zickmann did an amazing job! I had IV Sedation, and dont remember a thing. Post surgery I had very little pain and almost no swelling. Healed perfectly. I highly reccomend Dr. Zickmann and his friendly staff!!

I had 4 wisdom teeth out, and not only was Dr. Z done in about 10 minutes but within 24 hours I was feeling so much better. They healed fast and effortlessly. I could not have been happier. The cost was great with my insurance, and even without I thought it would have been reasonable. The desk people could use some people skills a bit, but it is clear they see a ton of patients but the hygienists were so nice and personable. Their advice was clear. I (like everyone I suppose) hate having my teeth worked on but they did a great job. Highly recommended!

I was originally scheduled to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed by another surgeon, and at the last minute, plans changed to have the procedure done at the Lincoln Park Office with Dr. Zickmann (emergency reschedule due to pain). On the day of my surgery, I was nervous that I have never met Dr. Zickmann, and even more nervous knowing that he had not seen my x-ray. They took an x-ray 30 minutes before going under the knife. Dr. Zickmann walked into the room, glanced at the x-ray and almost instantaneously recognized and stated the risks that my original surgeon mentioned (including my cyst). I knew at that moment I was in good hands. He was extremely friendly, has an excellent sense of humor, and there was virtually no pain after recovery. I will recommend Dr. Zickmann hands-down to everybody.

Dr. Zickmann is absolutely the best you could ask for. His chair side manners are outstanding. He has a great way of making the patient feel comfortable and calm. I am 36 years old and I am terrified of dentists. I have had a couple procedures done at this facility, with the most recent being an implant. I was completely stressed out prior to the procedure, but once I arrived at the office, Dr Zickmann made that disappear. I didn't feel any pain and the results were outstanding. I have had several follow ups since the implant and everything is coming along smoothly. The cost seems fairly relative to other offices I researched, however, I can confidently say that no matter what the cost, I will always remain a patient there. Unfortunately, I cannot give the same praises for the some of the front desk staff; however, you can ignore some of the rude behavior in exchange, for the peace of mind of a competent and understanding doctor. There is one support staff that has always been helpful, kind and sweet -her name is Lucy. I thank her for her kindness. It is people like Dr. Zickmann and Lucy that make a tense time for someone, less stressful. I thank them both.

I found Dr. Zickmann using my Insurance plan's web-site search tool. And WOW! did I find a gold mine. My 5 year old son, Aidan, needed 2 front teeth surgically extracted. I could not have created a better experience given the circumstances.

Dr. Zickmann, being a father himself, exhibited a wonderful bed side manner that made my son feel comfortable. From the first consultation, Dr. Zickmann made sure both Aidan and I understood every aspect of the procedure up to and including the aftercare. The staff was extremely professional in every regard. Everyone took individual notice of mine and my son's feelings and needs. BEST of all, the office was impeccable. My 5 year old son was NEVER afraid of any part of the process.

I had my first wisdom tooth pulled in the spring of 03 by Dr. Zickman. Recently I had an emergency here I had to have my top two teeth wisdoms pulled because I was in so much pain. They got me in that morning right when they opened, and had me in and out in under 45 minutes. the procedure itself was only about 4 minutes with every step before and after handle with impressive speed, ease, and hospitality. Can't imagine going anywhere else from now on.

I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Zickmann. My bottom two were partially impacted and causing me a lot of pain. I had seen two other oral surgeons who did not want to touch them because removal would be complicated. Dr. Zickmann warned me of the possible problems that could occur during surgery, but assured me the chances were slim.

I got a bit nervous the day of my surgery, and the staff were helpful and calming. I had general sedation for the procedure, so I don't remember a thing. Apparently it was over in about 20 minutes!

Recovery was fairly quick and pain was minimal. By the third day I only needed regular strength advil. Overall I am very pleased with Dr. Zickmann and his staff.

Zickman is great! Very professional: my Polish dentist told me it's risky to extract my teeth because of the nearby nerves. Zickman explained that he does things like that and far more complicated on a daily basis and the risks of getting it done when I'm older outweigh the risk of leaving the teeth. The procedure itself went very smoothly. I went under anesthesia, so don't remember much of the surgery, but the recovery was quick and painless. Overall:a great experience. I wish all areas of my life were taken care of in this way!!!

It took a long time to get in to see him, but I was very happy to meet and be treated by Dr. Zickmann. He took an inordinate amount of time to assess my situation, treat my pain, help me to understand the options needed and to follow-up. I've not met a doctor like him yet.

I will be visiting him again soon to get an implant. The office uses very state of the art technology and the staff is very friendly, considerate, respectful of my time, and helpful.

I used this site to find him and am now grateful for its' existence. I had been to see no fewer than 6 other dental professionals who indicated that they could identify no problem and offered no treatment options.

Fantastic the absolute best!

Great attitude and personality. Really made me feel at ease. I have terrible teeth and needed 5 extractions and 6 implants. I have completed all the extractions and 3 of the implants on the left side and have 3 more implants on my right side to go. Absolutely no regrets. The procedure was simple, a lot easier than I had worried about. My quality of life is much easier with the work done so far. No problems with the insurance at all. The implants were not covered so I had to pay unfortunetely. The implants are expensive, but Dr Zickmann was able to help out with all the work I was having done. Still a small fortune for someone who works for a living, but in my opinion worth it in the long run. I am soooo much happier and the implants are basically permanent. The hygienists were very good, very helpful and knowledgeable. The hygienist said I might want to take only half of the pain pill because they were strong and it would be easier because they can make some nauseous. It was great advice. I took the pain medication for a few days after the extractions, but only needed them for one day after I had 2 implants done in the same day. The implants really are great. I can't say enough good things. Thank You!
